Her Honour Judge Corbett is a Senior Circuit Judge, and Designated Family Judge at West London Family Court. She is authorised to act as a Judge of the High Court under s9(1) sitting in the Family Division.
Caroline Lynch is the Family Rights Group’s Principal Legal Adviser and was a key member of the Supervision Order Working Group. At FRG she takes a leading role in the charity’s work in influencing child welfare law, policy and the family justice system. She leads organisation’s strategic litigation activity and oversees the development of tailored online advice resources forfamilies and practitioners. Called to the bar in 2003, Caroline has specialised in children’s public law for nearly 20 years. Prior to joining Family Rights Group, she practiced at the independent bar then within a busy London local authority legal team. She has represented families, childrenand local authorities in a range of complex public law matters under the Children Act 1989 and Adoption and Children Act 2002. Caroline has led action research examining the experiences and needs of young parents involved with child welfare processes. She designed and led aknowledge inquiry into the use of section 20 voluntary arrangements, the precursor to the charity’s intervention in the Supreme Court matter of Williams-and-LB Hackney. Caroline was part of the team facilitating the 2018 Care Crisis Review and sits on the Public Law WorkingGroup.
