Charlotte Coyle

Charlotte qualified as a solicitor in 2014 and is a Director in the family department at Freeths LLP.

Charlotte specialises in private children law, with particular expertise in international and UK surrogacy and applications for parental order. She receives instructions on complex cases with an international element, which sees her regularly appear in High Court. Her work in this field has been recognised in the Legal Directories with Charlotte being described as “extremely tenacious and brilliant.”

Charlotte has a diverse client base with a wide age distribution and varied backgrounds. Charlotte is committed to achieving the best outcome for all her clients and recognises that each case is unique. She is regarded as being protective of her client’s best interests and will go over and above to get the best result possible for them. Charlotte also advises upon all aspects of family law from the beginning of a relationship where she can assist with prenuptial and cohabitation agreements, to when a relationship breaks down, at which point she provides advice on dispute resolution involving finances, children, and the wellbeing of the client.

Andrea Watts

Andrea is a family law barrister at 1KBW Chambers in London. She is an experienced practitioner specialising in children matters. Her practice is split between public and private law matters.

In public law she is regularly instructed in complex care proceedings, adoption cases and matters involving the deprivation of children’s liberty. She acts for parents, children and guardians, extended family members and local authorities and frequently works with clients with additional needs.

Andrea has considerable expertise in dealing with high stakes private law issues such as international relocation, child abduction and cases involving serious allegations of harm. She has worked with high profile clients and extremely vulnerable members of society, and often acts for guardians appointed to represent the children.
